Talking Mondays. Guest: Bettina Eberhard, film maker and artist

Talking Mondays is a series of monthly panel discussions at Artfoyer Cavigelli with guests from the fields of art, architecture, photography, film, design and theory. After a short presentation of their project(s), the invited guests will engage in a casual discussion about the joys and hardships of their profession, while having a beer or a glass of wine. Talking Mondays is thought as a platform for networking and making friends.

The first guest at Talking Mondays is Bettina Eberhard, film maker and artist living in Zurich. She studied at the Zurich University of the Arts, Goldsmiths College in London and the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, where she graduated in 2007 with the award-winning short film Lostage. She is a member of the group Drater! and exhibited in London, Berlin and in the Swiss canton of Glarus.

Bettina Eberhard is the producer, screenplay writer and director of Lostage (2007), which obtained a Special Mention within Perspectives of German Cinema at the 58th Berlin International Film Festival in 2008. Lostage is the story of a girl raised as a boy in a village haunted by superstitions and fear (www.lostage.ch). The movie is 34 minutes long, followed by a discussion.
